PlayStation dev confirms Red Dead Redemption 2 feature will return in GTA 6

Red Dead Redemption 2, renowned as one of the best open-world games, is set to be eclipsed by the highly anticipated GTA VI, according to recent leaks and rumors.

Insights from a PlayStation developer suggest that GTA VI will incorporate features from Red Dead Redemption 2, such as the Eagle Eye ability, allowing players to identify objects and track animals during potential hunting trips. There are even speculations about a fishing minigame where the Eagle Eye could prove useful.

Another feature making a return from Red Dead Redemption 2 is the NPC interaction system, offering players more immersive options to engage with non-player characters in the open world. This could bring diverse interactions with NPCs in the streets of Vice City, potentially featuring characters akin to the memorable ones in Red Dead Redemption 2.

While additional details were hinted at by the leaker, the release date for GTA VI remains elusive, with only a vague 2025 window provided by Rockstar. Despite the anticipation, the incorporation of Red Dead Redemption 2 features into GTA VI suggests that the game will be well worth the wait, promising a heightened level of detail and immersion upon its launch next year.
