BAFTA Awards 2024 - Full Winner List

Oppenheimer emerged triumphant at the 2024 British Academy Film Awards, securing the coveted titles of best film and best director for Christopher Nolan, marking his inaugural BAFTA win. 

Cillian Murphy received acclaim as best actor for his compelling portrayal of atomic age scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer, while co-star Robert Downey Jr earned the accolade for best supporting actor.

Nolan's film garnered an impressive total of seven awards. Yorgos Lanthimos's feminist fantasy adventure, Poor Things, closely followed with five awards, including best actress for Emma Stone in her role as Bella Baxter. 

Jonathan Glazer's Holocaust drama, The Zone of Interest, clinched three awards, notably outstanding British film and best film not in the English language. Da’vine Joy Randolph was recognized as best supporting actress for The Holdovers, which also received the honor for best casting.

Several winning films, including Anatomy of a Fall, The Holdovers, Poor Things, The Zone of Interest, Earth Mama, and The Boy and the Heron, made their debut to UK audiences at the BFI London Film Festival.
