Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo' is still continuing to mint money across theatres worldwide. On October 24, the film managed to earn over Rs 30 crore net in India and is still going strong.
This is a decline from October 23 collection, yet it still put up decent numbers at the box office. The real test starts for 'Leo' from today, October 25, as the Dussehra holidays have come to an end.
'LEO' CONTINUES ITS DREAM RUN IN THEATRES
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo' released in theatres on October 19 in multiple languages. It was one of the most anticipated films of 2023.
On its first Tuesday (October 24) at the box office, 'Leo' saw a slight drop in collections. However, according to early trade estimates, it still managed to put up Rs 31.50 crore net in India. The film is now nearing Rs 250-crore mark in India.
This takes the six-day total collection to Rs 248.60 crore at the domestic market. 'Leo' recorded an occupancy of 65.79 per cent on October 24.
'Leo' marks the second collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj after 'Master'. This film has screenplay written by Lokesh, Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy.
The action entertainer boasts an ensemble cast including Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Sandy and Gautham Menon in pivotal roles. Mathew Thomas, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand and several others were seen in supporting roles.
