OnePlus Ace 3V Tipped to Get New Snapdragon 7 Series Chip by leaked information

Last March, OnePlus launched the OnePlus Ace 2V equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. Now, there are rumors circulating about its potential successor, the OnePlus Ace 3V. According to a Chinese tipster, the upcoming device is purported to be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 7 series chipset.

The tipster, known as Smart Pikachu, also suggested that the OnePlus 13, expected to follow the OnePlus 12, would feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.

As per the post on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, the OnePlus Ace 3V is anticipated to sport a Snapdragon 7 series chip, likely carrying the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 branding. Reports
suggest it will boast a 1.5K resolution display and a hefty 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging—a detail consistent with earlier leaks.

Furthermore, the tipster hinted that the OnePlus 13 might launch sooner than anticipated, featuring the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. It's speculated that this chipset could be unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit slated for October this year.

The OnePlus Ace 2V was introduced in China last March, starting at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 27,000) for the base model featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

This device boasts a 6.74-inch 2.5D AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,240x2,772 pixels. It runs on an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and sports a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 64-megapixel primary sensor. Powering the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support.

While the OnePlus Ace 2V remained exclusive to China, the company later introduced the OnePlus Nord 3 in global markets, including India, in July 2023, essentially rebranding the former model.
