Enes Unal's last-minute equalizer salvaged a point for Bournemouth, denying Sheffield United a crucial three points in their battle for survival in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old Turkish international, on loan from Getafe, calmly slotted in his debut goal for the club during stoppage time, moments after seeing a header from a similar position cleared off the line.

Sheffield United, who had shown significant improvement from their previous defeat to Arsenal, had taken a 2-0 lead until the 74th minute at Vitality Stadium.

Gustavo Hamer opened the scoring in the first half after Bournemouth goalkeeper Neto parried Jayden Bogle's shot into his path, while Dominic Solanke missed an early penalty for the Cherries.

Solanke was fouled by Tom Davies for the spot-kick but slipped during his run-up, sending the ball sailing over the crossbar after hitting his standing foot. The visitors extended their lead when Neto punched a corner into Solanke, and Jack Robinson capitalized on the rebound, his shot hitting the post before crossing the line.

Despite Solanke having a goal disallowed for handling the ball and Dango Ouattara's header giving Bournemouth hope, Unal's goal completed the comeback. Sheffield United moved above Burnley in the relegation zone with the point, although they remain 10 points behind 17th-placed Nottingham Forest.

Blades manager Chris Wilder expressed mixed emotions, acknowledging the team's resilience but emphasizing the need for consistency.
