Tottenham Hotspur staged an impressive second-half comeback, securing a 3-2 victory over Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This win propels Spurs into fourth place on the league table, tied with Aston Villa at 43 points, but ahead based on a superior goal difference.
The next challenge for Spurs is Everton in the early kick-off on Saturday. The match saw a remarkable turnaround as Brentford initially took the lead in the first half, with Neal Maupay scoring after Ivan Toney's shot was saved.
However, Spurs dominated the second half, netting three goals within the first ten minutes, courtesy of Destiny Udogie and substitute Brennan Johnson. Richarlison added a third for Spurs, but a Udogie mistake allowed Toney to score a second for Brentford.
Despite a nervy eight minutes of added time, Spurs secured the win and a spot in the Premier League's top four.
