OnePlus is initiating the first updates for the OnePlus 12, introducing the Hasselblad Master mode in the camera app. The Hasselblad Master mode empowers users to customize saturation, contrast, sharpness, and vignette levels before capturing a photo.
Although the OnePlus 12 was launched globally with this feature, it was oddly absent in some units, including my review device. OnePlus is addressing this through the initial Oxygen OS update, version 14.0.0.404 (EX01), which is currently being rolled out.
This update, sizable at 6.48GB, marks the first publicly available update for the OnePlus 12, succeeding a smaller release (Oxygen OS v14.0.0.10, SP01EX01) that was not accessible to the general public.
For context, my OnePlus 12 originally shipped with Oxygen OS v14.0.0.232 (EX01). The Hasselblad Master mode, now confirmed with this update, replaces the Pro mode in the camera app, allowing users to finely adjust image settings or opt for automatic adjustments.
