Nothing Phone 2a will be Available on Flipkart, Key Specifications Leaked

The upcoming Nothing Phone 2a, the third smartphone from the brand led by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, is set to launch in India soon. The UK-based company has officially confirmed that the phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart.

Alongside the confirmation, leaked hands-on images and specifications of the Phone 2a have surfaced online, revealing a black version with a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera at the center of the screen. The phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC.

Flipkart has dedicated a microsite to tease the arrival of the Nothing Phone 2a, featuring a "coming soon" tag and a Nothing community update video by co-founder and marketing lead Akis Evangelidis. However, the landing page does not provide specific details about the phone's launch date or key features.

Moreover, a Reddit user has shared alleged hands-on images and specifications, indicating a distinct design language for the Phone 2a. Despite a privacy cover, the images suggest two rear-facing cameras, mounted horizontally towards the center of the back panel.

According to leaks, the Nothing Phone 2a is expected to run on Android 13, featuring a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device may house a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Samsung GN9 sensor and a 50-megapixel JN1 camera, with a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 front camera. Color options are said to include black and white.

Although an official launch date is yet to be announced, speculations suggest it could coincide with Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 later this month. The handset, codenamed Aerodactyl, is expected to incorporate features from last year's Nothing Phone 2 and promises an upgraded experience compared to the initial Nothing Phone 1.
