iPad Pro 2024 likely to have Bigger OLED Screen and M3 Chip

According to reports, Apple is planning to unveil new iPads this year, starting with the iPad Pro lineup, as indicated by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who suggests they may debut next month.

In his newsletter, Gurman hints that the forthcoming iPad Pro could undergo its most significant overhaul in years, potentially becoming the first Apple tablet to feature an OLED screen, promising improved brightness and more precise, vibrant colors compared to previous models.

Currently, the 11-inch iPad Pro boasts an LCD screen, reminiscent of the original iPad Pro, while the 12.9-inch variant sports a mini-LED panel. However, this year, both sizes of the iPad Pro are expected to transition to OLED displays.

Additionally, there are rumors of Apple increasing the screen size of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro to 13 inches and introducing a redesigned Magic Keyboard with an expanded trackpad and a landscape-oriented Face ID camera, spotted in a beta build of iOS 17.4.

On the hardware side, both models are anticipated to feature Apple's latest M3 chip. While these enhancements may elevate the iPad experience, there's speculation that Apple could raise the prices of the new iPads significantly.

Furthermore, Gurman suggests that the iPad Air 6 will undergo substantial upgrades, including a larger 12.9-inch screen compared to the 10.9-inch display of the iPad Air 2022.

Notably, Apple refrained from introducing any new iPads in 2023, marking the first year since its inception over a decade ago that the Cupertino-based tech giant did not update the iPad lineup.
