The Moto G34 5G has made its debut in the Indian market, entering the competition against other affordable 5G phones like the Redmi 11C and Samsung Galaxy M14. It boasts a hole-punch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 695 SoC, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, a 5,000mAh battery, and more. The pricing for this new 5G phone in India falls below Rs 12,000. Here are the specifics.

The entry-level model of the Moto G34 5G, featuring 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, is available for Rs 10,999, while the top-tier variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at Rs 11,999. Motorola is offering a Rs 1,000 exchange bonus for the new device, effectively reducing the price to Rs 9,999 and Rs 10,999, respectively. 

The smartphone comes in Charcoal Black, Ice Blue, and Ocean Green colors, with the Green variant sporting a vegan leather finish. Starting January 17, the Moto G34 5G will be up for grabs on Flipkart and select retail stores in India.

The Moto G34 5G sports a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It boasts a pixel density of 269ppi and a peak brightness of 580nits. 

The panel also includes an additional layer of Panda Glass for enhanced durability. Under the hood, the Moto G34 5G runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC and comes equipped with 8GB of RAM. The device provides the option to virtually expand its available memory up to 16GB by utilizing unused storage.

Operating on the Android 14 system, the Moto G34 5G is guaranteed to receive an update to Android 15. This budget 5G smartphone will also receive three years of security patches.

In terms of photography, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor accompanied by a single LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the Moto G34 5G is equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera boasting an f/2.4 aperture.
