Mohamed Diomande on Rangers transfer deal

Mohamed Diomande on Rangers transfer deal

Rangers are reportedly on the verge of completing their second signing in January by acquiring midfielder Mohamed Diomande from Nordsjaelland.

Several reports from Denmark indicate that the Ivory Coast U23 international has left Nordsjaelland's training camp in America and is set to undergo a medical examination with Rangers.

Philippe Clement, the Rangers manager, has emphasized the necessity for new additions, and Diomande seems poised to join Fabio Silva, on loan from Wolves, at Ibrox.

Diomande, who has been linked with Union Berlin and RB Leipzig in the last six months, is versatile in playing across various positions in the midfield. Although he typically operates further up the pitch, contributing to his team's current fifth position in the Danish Superliga.

Now, all signs point to Ibrox, as reports suggest that an agreement was reached overnight to finalize Diomande's transfer to Glasgow.
