Apart from markdowns on various products, customers can benefit from an additional instant discount on eligible bank card transactions throughout the sale. It is advisable to compare these offerings with those of competitor Flipkart's Republic Day Sale, starting a day later on January 14.
As per information disclosed by the e-commerce website, the Amazon Great Republic Day Sale is scheduled to kick off at 12 pm (noon) on January 13. However, Amazon Prime subscribers can access the same deals 12 hours earlier, at midnight.
The subscription also provides privileges such as free one-day and two-day shipping on numerous products, along with access to Amazon's music and video streaming services.
While Amazon plans to present various discounts on consumer electronics and other items during the upcoming sale, an additional 10 percent instant discount can be availed of during the sale, exclusively on SBI Bank credit card or EMI transactions, according to the e-commerce platform.
The landing page for the impending Amazon Great Republic Day sale indicates that smartphones and accessories will be offered with discounts of up to 40 percent. Additionally, those interested in purchasing laptops, tablets, smartwatches, and other accessories can secure these products with discounts of up to 75 percent, according to Amazon.
Likewise, smart TVs and home appliances like washing machines, refrigerators, and air conditioners will be available with discounts of up to 65 percent during the sale. Amazon also mentions that customers can exchange eligible older devices and appliances to further reduce the cost of these products during the sale.
