Inter Miami got heavy defeated by Saudi Arabian Club Al Nassr

Inter Miami suffered their third consecutive preseason defeat, a 6-0 loss to Al-Nassr, with a leaky defense and Lionel Messi resting. This marked their third scoreless match out of four friendlies, sparking concerns about the team's vulnerabilities and Messi's fragility, reminiscent of 2023 issues.

However, players downplayed the significance, emphasizing it's still preseason, and the focus is on building team cohesion. The match against Al-Nassr, part of a commercially driven preseason, intensified debates about MLS versus the Saudi league, but it was argued that such comparisons are irrelevant.

Messi's absence due to precautionary measures raised eyebrows, yet the team's performance without him highlighted vulnerabilities. Despite the embarrassing result, the coach and players remain optimistic, acknowledging areas for improvement and experimenting with a new formation.

While regression occurred, the team has time before the MLS opener, and expectations of a strong performance in the league persist, with the only major concern being Messi's health. The preseason outcomes are deemed inconsequential historically, and the team's MLS Cup odds remain unaffected.
