Noteworthy smartphones scheduled for release next month encompass the OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, Samsung Galaxy S24 series, Redmi Note 13 series, Vivo X100 series, and more. Detailed information regarding the anticipated launch dates, specifications, and prices of these upcoming phones is provided below.

Xiaomi is poised to introduce its mid-range Redmi Note 13 series in India on January 4. This series is anticipated to comprise models such as Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. 

Having already debuted in China, these models are expected to share similar specifications for the Indian market. All three are projected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Regarding the chipset, the Redmi Note 13 is likely to incorporate the Mediatek Dimensity 6080 SoC, while the Pro model may be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ could feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC.

Camera specifications suggest the Redmi Note 13 model may house a 100MP dual rear camera setup, while the Pro models may boast a triple rear camera setup, including a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). On the front, all models may feature a 16MP selfie camera. The Redmi Note 13 series is anticipated to house a 5,000 mAh battery.

OnePlus 12 series

OnePlus is set to unveil the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R in India on January 23 at 7:30 pm. Drawing from the Chinese variant, the OnePlus 12 5G is expected to showcase a 6.82-inch quad-HD+ LTPO OLED screen with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. Confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, it may offer up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of inbuilt storage.

The camera setup for the OnePlus 12 is anticipated to include Hasselblad cameras, featuring a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary lens, a 64MP telephoto camera, and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, a 32MP front-facing camera may be present. The OnePlus 12 5G is expected to house a 5,400 mAh battery supporting 100W SuperVOOC charging.

Vivo X100 Series

Having already premiered in China, the Vivo X100 series is slated for an imminent launch in India. Expected to encompass the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro, these models, based on the Chinese variants, are likely to run on Android 14-based OriginOS 4. 

Featuring a curved 6.78-inch 8 LTPO AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate, both models may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset, coupled with Vivo’s V3 chip.

Camera-wise, both models in the Vivo X100 series may incorporate a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera, including a 50MP primary sensor. The Vivo X100 is projected to have a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging, while the Pro model may boast a 5,400 mAh battery supporting 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
